A total of 15 wonderful people turned up for the run today at our favourite Upper Pierce Reservoir.
CS Chan was kind enough to sponsor and brought along 100-Plus drink and cups. Very nice of him.
HC and HT did a 10.9km run together. HT did very well with less than 61 minutes. HC took about 66 minutes, not too bad as he has not been running the whole of last week.
HC's run data and chart captured on the Garmin monitoring device can be viewed at this location => HC's Running Blog.
A lot of expressed interest today on the Garmin heart-rate, speed and distance monitoring watch. Pete Laute and HC Gan bought one each last year for US$130. Due to current recession, it is now at fire-sales price of only US$85 (it cost about S$400 if buy locally in Singapore)! Best time to buy now. HT Ng and Bok Hui are trying to co-ordinate to do a bulk order from US for our AMK Hot-Runners. Those interested can contact them. For more info on the device click here => Garmin heart-rate, speed and distance monitoring watch.
Show me how far have you run today, using your fingers only ? Wow..... Venkat and Steby total sweat-out but their fingers showed 0km (zero).
Most of the runners did 3km, 6km, 7km, etc.
Margaret and Will did a 10km run. George looks like Will's twin brother. Randy's run is full of "punch".
TL Yen has significantly improved his running since he first the running group.
PH Tan used to be struggling in the past with his runs at NP running tracks. Now he can quite comfortably run anywhere between 3km to 6km.
Enjoy watching SokeHan runnings... so relaxed and it appeared like she is dancing along the road.
SV Venkat and Steby have been very persistent and consistent in their running pace.
KH Tay has been a regular long distance runner. Hope he try Pose method so that he do not get knee injury going forward. HT can teach that for FREE (or a cup of kopi) !
BokHui and CS are very fast and long distance runners.
A bunch of energetic and lovely people. I enjoy running with them (click on photos to enlarge view). Hmmmm, what are they trying to do or express in the photos below.... ? catch no ball.
